Boru Sanayi A.Ş. started its journey under the lead of its founder, late Asım Kocabıyık, with 27 employees and 5 product varieties.

With the increased business volume, Boru Sanayii AŞ moved its production to its new facilities in Halkalı, with an area of 58,000 square meters.

The success achieved by Boru Sanayii AŞ in a decade earned late Asım Kocabıyık a seat on the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, placing him among the country’s top industrialists.

Boru Sanayii AŞ made its first export to Syria for USD 100,000.

Borusan’s current production base, the Borusan Boru Gemlik facility was built on an area of 800,000 square meters in Gemlik.

Borusan Boru was given the “Gold Mercury” international award, which is bestowed to firms that contribute to the improvement of international relations and productivity boost, in Teheran.

On November 27, 2023, we entered a new era with our majority shares being owned by Borusan Group. As a result of these transactions, our company has renewed its brand as Borusan Boru in Turkiye and as Borusan Pipe for its operations abroad.
